The Chinese character for monkey, “ 猴”, is engraved on the left side of the coin, above the monkey’s tail. The face value of the coin is engraved at the bottom of the coin, below the monkey. For example, “15 DOLLARS”. On the left side of the coin, the initials “AC” are inscribed beside the tail. They stand for Aries Cheung, designer of the reverse.
